Resumen: El señor Higgins tiene cuatro hijas y tres yernos. Cada uno de ellos gestiona una de sus empresas. Dan Brooks odia dirigir la compañía de fabricación de papel. Él prefiere dedicar su atención a su caballo de carreras "Broadway Bill". Alice, la hija preferida de Higgins, animará a Dan cuando la esposa de éste se niegue a apoyarlo en las carreras.
