Resumen:
Dick Van Dyke interpreta a un excéntrico inventor de nombre Caractacus Potts, que consigue convertir un viejo coche de carreras (llamado originalmente "Paragon Panther") en un vehículo que podía volar y flotar sobre el agua al que denominó Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
